Lou Vockell worked on-air and in production at WEBN from 1980-1984. During that time he distinguished himself by being in the presence of such greats as Tom Sandman, Jay Gilbert and others. Lou says "I like to think a bit of legendary status rubbed off on me, much the same way magnetism will rub off on a piece of iron when passed over a magnet. Sort of a..."contact significance" if you will." I'm sure there are dozens of examples of Lou's work snaked away in the WEBN tape archives. Lou has remained in Cincinnati and managed to carve out a reputation for himself as a writer/producer/director of low budget b-movie. Lou takes a certain pride in films like KILLER SEX QUEENS FROM CYBERSPACE and HOOKERS IN A HAUNTED HOUSE. Everybody has to be proud of something, right?
